On 27 December 2016, Shenzhen GSIN Green Building Co., Ltd. held its listing bell ceremony at the National Equities Exchange and Quotations center on Financial Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. Chairman Zhang Feng and company leaders attended. Trading under stock code 839696, the company had formally listed on 16 November.
Zhang said the company would use the platform to support transformation, innovation and management improvement, guided by honesty, commitment, diligence and shared success. He thanked partners and employees who had helped the business grow from a small workshop in 1998 to a listed company employing hundreds of people.
In an interview with CCTV's securities-information channel, Zhang explained that listing would support standardized operations, employee belonging and access to capital. GSIN would build on its super-high-rise and long-span expertise while developing integrated prefabricated steel buildings.
The company outlined its transition from specialist steel contracting to green-building general contracting, primarily through EPC, to provide safer, greener and more livable buildings.
