On the morning of 6 January, DIALOG Group's Gideon and CPECC (M) project director Jia Qiang led a delegation to GSIN. CPECC (M), or CPECC Engineering and Construction (M) Sdn. Bhd., is the Malaysian subsidiary of China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation. Chairman Zhang Feng and senior staff responsible for project delivery, fabrication and marketing welcomed the visitors.
Presentations covered GSIN and its steel fabrication plant, including quality control, technical standards, environmental measures, safety management, production, transport and overseas projects. The team answered questions about plant scale, supply-chain arrangements, shipping and equipment maintenance and provided qualification documents.
The delegation toured the workshops to inspect cutting, assembly, welding, coating and quality control. This article describes the Longgang International Low Carbon City plant as occupying approximately 40,000 m² with annual production of approximately 40,000 tonnes. It records Guangdong and Shenzhen industrial-base recognition in 2019.
GSIN welcomed further cooperation with international partners and market development in Malaysia and other Belt and Road countries.
