GSIN held its 2016 annual review on 4–5 March, reviewing departmental performance and setting plans for 2017. On 8 March, the general office organized an outing for female employees to Shiwai Plum Garden in Huizhou.
The Huiyun Center project held an expert review. Employees Kang Baorong, Sun Tianyuan, Ge Hui and Jiang Jin took part in Pingdi and Longgang employee talent competitions on 21 and 28 March, achieving sixth place in district vocal performance and twelfth in dance.
GSIN participated in the Shenzhen Green Building Association's council meeting on 13 March and the 13th International Conference on Green and Energy-Efficient Building and New Technologies and Products Expo, which opened at Beijing's China National Convention Center on 21 March. More than 100 Shenzhen enterprises presented the city's achievements. GSIN participated as an association vice-president member.
On 21–22 March, the project management department coordinated first-quarter inspections of Shenzhen projects, reviewing cost, safety, quality, progress, materials, service and records. Organization and staffing were generally sound; safety, quality, cost and schedules were controlled, while detailed management and professional knowledge required improvement.
On 25 March, newly recruited graduates visited Bojin Business Plaza and Shenwan Huiyun Center for project introductions and construction-site learning.
