On 2 November, nearly 100 representatives from developers, supervisors and contractors attended a Guangming construction quality and safety exchange at Cumark Tower, which had received Shenzhen's Excellent Safe and Civilized Construction Site award. Subdistrict offices, the public-works bureau and water-management organizations supported the event.
The quality and safety supervision station called on project teams to prevent hazards and defects early and use the exchange to strengthen shared understanding and confidence.
Chairman Zhang Feng introduced the project, GSIN's EPC transition and its light-panel system. Cumark Tower's prefabrication and assembly rates both exceeded 80%; the report describes it as Shenzhen's first prefabricated steel building and first three-star green high-rise of its kind.
Ba Wensheng of China Construction Seventh Engineering Division's Shenzhen business unit explained safety and quality management: clear systems, standardized processes, early planning, ongoing supervision and improvement activities to resolve technical issues.
Guangming's housing and planning authority encouraged participants to apply the lessons. An organized site tour concluded the event, emphasizing quality, green construction, safety and civilized site management.
