GSIN held its 2018 first-half work review on 31 August and 1 September. Chairman and General Manager Zhang Feng called for strategy-led work, a more practical working style and completion of annual tasks. Business and departmental leaders reported on their work.
Five priorities were set: solve problems through continuous improvement; strengthen basic management and system execution; involve all staff in marketing led by executives, departments and production teams; put safety first; and improve the light-panel building system as a flagship product.
The meeting reaffirmed the combined steel-structure and green-building strategy and the transition from fabrication and installation to complete prefabricated-building EPC contracting. Organization, processes and people would support market development, R&D, performance management and brand building.
