GSIN receives three China Steel Structure Building awards

At the China Construction Steel Structure Industry Conference in Wuhan on 28–29 May 2021, GSIN received three honours: the Shenwan Huiyun project won the 14th China Steel Structure Gold Award; Mao Chaojiang was named a National Outstanding Project Manager; and GSIN's complete prefabricated steel-structure light-panel technology received a 2021 second-prize science and technology award.

Shenwan Huiyun Center is located in the Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base. This release records a height of 358.7 m, four basement levels and 79 above-ground storeys. It describes the project as China's first deep excavation adjoining three metro lines and the tallest building above a metro development.

Mao Chaojiang graduated in civil engineering from Chongqing University, holds a first-class constructor qualification and has published four papers. His projects include Nanning China Resources MixC, Tencent Wuhan R&D Center and Shenwan Huiyun Center.

GSIN developed its light-panel steel-building system with the China Academy of Building Research, Tsinghua University and other partners, building on fabrication and erection experience. The company thanks the China Construction Metal Structure Association, experts and its project teams, and will continue improving industry technology and quality.
