On 8 July, GSIN successfully completed the overall lifting of the roof steel structure at Liguang Logistics Park. Located in Guanlan Subdistrict, Longhua District, Shenzhen, the park occupies approximately 45,300 m², with a total floor area of approximately 265,000 m². Shenzhen Jian'an Group is the general contractor and GSIN the specialist steel-structure contractor.
This was Shenzhen's first overall lift of a high-rise, large-span steel cold-storage roof system. The roof space frame spans 42.7 m and was raised 48 m. After ground-level assembly and acceptance, hydraulic synchronized lifting at eight groups of lifting points completed the operation in six hours.
Factory fabrication reduced on-site welding and pollution. Ground-level assembly and overall lifting improved efficiency, shortened the programme and reduced the risks associated with conventional work at height.
The team's work supported quality delivery and the company's reputation. In the first half of 2022, Liguang Logistics Park received recognition as a Guangdong Municipal Engineering Work Safety and Civilized Construction Demonstration Site and a Shenzhen Excellent Construction Safety and Civilized Construction Site. The project is intended as an ecological, intelligent and innovative logistics complex providing one-stop urban logistics services.
