GSIN has received a Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Science and Technology Programme Project Acceptance Certificate. This confirms acceptance of the green-building and energy-efficiency demonstration project Application Technology for Prefabricated Steel-Structure Light-Panel Buildings at Cumark Tower.
Cumark Tower integrated and innovated its structural, envelope and interior systems. The project completed one municipal construction method, obtained one invention patent and 14 utility-model patents, prepared 11 system standards, published five research reports or papers and hosted more than 12 observation visits.
Recognitions include Guangdong Prefabricated Building Demonstration Project; Shenzhen 13th Five-Year Construction Technology Demonstration Project; 2019 Guangdong Outstanding Prefabricated Building Observation Project; Yuegang Award; Shenzhen Excellent Safety and Civilized Construction Site; Shenzhen Green Building Demonstration Site; Shenzhen Green Building Gold Design Certification; and second prize for Shenzhen Outstanding Construction QC Team Achievements.
An appraisal organized by the China Construction Metal Structure Association rated the overall system nationally leading and its lightweight wall-panel design and application internationally advanced. The system combines an all-steel main structure, steel-bar truss floor decking and prefabricated lightweight interior and exterior walls, providing an integrated solution with advantages in programme, energy efficiency, environmental performance and building functionality.
As GSIN's first prefabricated steel-building project, Cumark Tower has both earned recognition and provided experience for subsequent technological innovation.
