GSIN has signed an engineering subcontract with the Hainan branch of China Construction First Group for Hainan Art Museum. GSIN is responsible for fabrication and erection of all steel structures, with work planned to begin in early June.
Hainan Art Museum is one of the province's ten key public cultural infrastructure projects. Haikou's tourism, culture, radio, television and sports authority planned an investment of RMB 500 million and a total floor area of approximately 33,600 m². The museum will fill the gap in large provincial art museums in Hainan, supporting the exhibition, collection and research of important artworks and serving as a window for Hainan Free Trade Port culture.
GSIN's previous landmark projects in Hainan include the large-span steel structure of Danzhou Sports Center and the super high-rise Hainan Haikong Tower. The team will once again cross the Qiongzhou Strait to deliver a new landmark with its partners.
