The first roof truss lift in Area 1 of Zhengzhou High-tech Urban Cultural Complex has been completed successfully. GSIN is responsible for the project's steel construction.
The public-building project occupies approximately 69,966.7 m² within the area bounded by Kexue Avenue, Chuangxin Avenue, Duying Street and Huanglan Road in Zhongyuan District, Zhengzhou. It has three above-ground storeys and one basement level, with estimated steel consumption of approximately 9,400 tonnes. The floor-area figure in the original release is written as 156000 ten-thousand m²; this historical source figure has not been independently corrected.
Construction is organized into four areas. Steel construction is concentrated in Area 1, with an estimated 7,400 tonnes, approximately 79% of the total. The lower main structure is a steel frame; the roof comprises inverted triangular tubular trusses connected to the steel frame columns through manufactured bearings.
The first roof truss lift marks entry into a critical stage. GSIN will continue to apply demanding standards to deliver the project with the required quality, quantity and schedule.
