In June 2024, GSIN organized Work Safety Month activities under the theme of safety awareness, emergency readiness and clear escape routes, following national guidance and the principle of prevention and comprehensive safety management.
A company-wide launch meeting took place on 30 May through headquarters and project-site video links, organized by the safety and delivery management department and chaired by the executive deputy general manager. The fabrication plant held its launch that afternoon, with projects organizing local sessions. Safety videos, accident case studies and information displays reinforced awareness.
Project and factory managers led hazard inspections. The executive deputy general manager also led second-quarter inspections in early and mid-June, emphasizing safety, rectification notices, deadlines and accountability.
Headquarters and factory personnel practiced fire response, electric-shock rescue and lifting/object-strike accident response. Training included extinguisher use, firefighting equipment, rescue precautions and CPR. Safety quizzes and summer refreshments accompanied the activities; projects also ran their own drills.
The programme strengthened emergency response, evacuation skills and staff participation. GSIN will continue improving safety systems and maintaining orderly production.
