GSIN was founded in June 1998 in Shenzhen International Low Carbon City, Longgang. The original profile records a site area of approximately 30,000 m² and annual capacity of approximately 32,000 tonnes. A national high-tech enterprise specializing in super-high-rise, long-span and prefabricated steel structures, it holds Grade I specialist steel contracting and Grade II building general-contracting qualifications. Formerly Shenzhen Jinxin Steel Structure Building Installation Engineering Co., Ltd., the company restructured in 2015 and listed on NEEQ in November 2016 (stock code 839696). It received 2015 industry 5A integrity recognition and national high-tech status. Its business integrates specialist design, factory fabrication and standardized installation. The profile records three buildings above 340 m, including Shenwan Huiyun Center and Shenzhen Bay One; 65 buildings between 100 and 300 m, including Bojin Business Plaza and Wongtee Tower; and 50 long-span steel projects, including Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Gymnasium with a 145 m span.
