Super high-rise buildings demand high precision in component fabrication, well-organized on-site installation and coordinated vertical transportation. GSIN undertakes steel structure construction in this field, covering underground structures, podiums and tower bodies.
Structural system
The representative projects Shenwan Huiyun Center Tower J and One Shenzhen Bay T7 both use the “reinforced concrete core tube + steel radial beams + steel-reinforced columns” system. This type of system combines the lateral stiffness of the concrete core with the construction speed of steel structures, and places high demands on the coordination of joint detailing, member segmentation and on-site welding sequences.
Representative projects
- Shenwan Huiyun Center: Tower J is 356.7 m high with 79 floors above ground, using about 35,000 tons of steel.
- One Shenzhen Bay: Tower T7 is 341.4 m high with 76 floors above ground, using about 33,000 tons of steel.
