GSIN's prefabricated steel-structure housing at Ningxi Yuefu in Dongtai, Yancheng, received support under Jiangsu's 2022 Green Building Development Special Fund as a Green Building Quality Improvement Project, in the category of integrated new-building-industrialization technology demonstration.
GSIN contributes to the newly released T/CECS 1051-2022 standard
Technical Specification for Application of Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete Wall Panels (T/CECS 1051-2022) has been officially published. It was jointly led by Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, and GSIN, with contributions from Chongqing University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China Institute of Building Standard Design & Research and other organizations.

GSIN mobile COVID-19 testing stations support Shenzhen's epidemic response
GSIN's mobile COVID-19 sampling station has entered service at a testing site in Shatou Subdistrict, Futian. Medical workers sit inside the 3.6 m² station and take samples through openings in the glass enclosure, allowing separated sampling operations.
Shenzhen's first high-rise, long-span steel cold-storage roof successfully lifted
On 8 July, GSIN successfully completed the overall lifting of the roof steel structure at Liguang Logistics Park. Located in Guanlan Subdistrict, Longhua District, Shenzhen, the park occupies approximately 45,300 m², with a total floor area of approximately 265,000 m². Shenzhen Jian'an Group is the general contractor and GSIN the specialist steel-structure contractor.
Fangchenggang's first prefabricated steel residential structure tops out
With the final steel beam installed, Building 5 at Jinxi Meishu Mansion, Fangchenggang's first prefabricated steel-structure residential project, was successfully topped out.

GSIN has received a Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Science and Technology Programme Project Acceptance Certificate. This confirms acceptance of the green-building and energy-efficiency demonstration project Application Technology for Prefabricated Steel-Structure Light-Panel Buildings at Cumark Tower.

The China Construction Metal Structure Association has named GSIN a 2021 Trustworthy Enterprise in the Construction Steel Structure Industry. This is the fourth time GSIN has received the honour since its first recognition in 2015.

On 17 May, GSIN successfully completed overall lifting of the steel skybridge at Kangtai Group Tower.

On 18 January 2022, Shenzhen's Housing and Construction Bureau released its 2021 New Construction Technology Promotion Catalogue. GSIN's complete prefabricated steel-structure light-panel building system was the only prefabricated steel-building technology among the 13 selected technologies.
